Join Support Driving School
You've already achieved something significant — you're a qualified ADI. We believe that's just the beginning. Whether you want to grow your pupil base, deepen your coaching, develop as a mentor, or simply be part of a community that genuinely invests in each other, we're here to support your next chapter.
Built on three core values
The things that make life after qualification something to look forward to — not to figure out alone.
Growth
Continual development opportunities to keep your skills sharp and your career moving forward.
Community
A network that genuinely wants each other to succeed — so no instructor ever feels isolated.
Support
Dependable guidance alongside everything you do, not just when things get hard.
Everything you need to thrive
An environment built to give qualified ADIs the tools, community and ongoing development to build the career they want.
Ongoing CPD & Development
Regular CPD opportunities — including access to Inspire Instructor Training — to keep you at the top of your practice.
Standards Check Preparation
Structured support to help you consistently perform at Grade B or above, with a clear path towards a Grade A.
Community & Collaboration
A genuine network of instructors who share knowledge, support one another, and celebrate each other's wins.
Quarterly Goal Setting
Structured quarterly reviews to track your progress, refocus your goals, and plan your next steps — professionally and personally.
Mentoring Pathway
A clear route from ADI to mentor — development, professional recognition, and the satisfaction of giving back, built in.
Resources & Business Tools
Online materials, lesson plans, the Total Drive Diary App, and business guidance — everything you need in one place.
Mentorship — someone in your corner
Mentorship at Support isn't training — it's having someone who has your back, offers guidance, and helps you feel part of a supportive community. Every ADI receives:
- Weekly check-ins by text, call or Zoom — consistent support, accountability and shared problem-solving.
- A monthly face-to-face meeting, within an hour's drive of you.
- Bi-annual training on local routes, examiner expectations, diary management and professional conduct.
- Annual Standards Check preparation included as part of your ongoing support.
- Weekly drop-in sessions so you always stay connected to the community.
Prepared not just to pass — to excel
The DVSA Standards Check is a 45-minute in-car assessment of your teaching, scored across 17 competencies in three areas — Lesson Planning, Risk Management, and Teaching & Learning Strategies. We prepare you through 1:1 mentoring, lesson observations and regular feedback, so you consistently deliver high-quality, client-centred lessons that reflect the best of your practice.
You're never on your own
One of the most common challenges qualified ADIs face is isolation. Here, our community is active, engaged, and built on the belief that we're all stronger together.
Weekly Live Q&A Sessions
Zoom drop-ins to discuss challenges, share wins and learn from each other — relaxed, open and free.
Peer Observation & Feedback
Observe each other's lessons and give structured peer feedback — one of the most powerful tools for growth.
Quarterly Goal Setting
Review where you are and set clear goals for where you're going — with your mentor and the community behind you.
Group Learning & Podcasts
Curated podcasts and collaborative CPD events — learn together, grow together.
A clear path forward — including becoming a mentor
Being part of Support opens doors beyond your own pupils. We develop our future mentors from within: if you're passionate about helping others grow, there's a clear, supported pathway to becoming a Support mentor — guiding a small group of instructors through 1:1 sessions, Zoom calls and group learning. And through our connections across the wider CPD landscape — Fleet, academia, Blue Light, RoSPA and more, plus our own Inspire Instructor Training — we'll help you grow in the directions that matter to you.
From instructors we've trained
“Phillip made me see instructing in a whole new way — friendly, inspiring and very supportive throughout. He has a wealth of industry knowledge and I'd highly recommend him as a trainer.”
“After 20 years as a Police Officer I needed a change. Through Phil's knowledge and experience I passed all three assessments first time and have been qualified for nearly two years. His passion for driver training is second to none.”
“After not working out with another trainer, Phil was recommended to me. He sat in on my lessons and gave me lots of advice. Phil made me the instructor I am today — I'd highly recommend him to anyone.”
Meet the community before you commit
We'd love you to experience it first. We'll invite you to one of our weekly Zoom sessions as a guest — meet the team, ask anything, and get an honest feel for what Support is really like.
